Hero Vida V1 VX2 Gets Massive ₹15,000 Price Cut – Now Priced at ₹44,490!

Hero MotoCorp has slashed the price of its electric scooter, the Vida V1 VX2, by ₹15,000. The scooter, which was earlier priced at ₹59,490, is now available at just ₹44,490 (ex-showroom). This price drop is due to the new Battery as a Service (BaaS) model, allowing buyers to lease the battery instead of purchasing it.

What is BaaS ?

The Battery as a Service system gives customers the option to rent the battery and pay only for what they use. This reduces the upfront cost and makes electric mobility more affordable. Based on your monthly usage, you can choose a suitable rental plan with a fixed per km rate.

Vida VX2 Go Plans

The Vida VX2 Go variant offers two flexible rental plans:

  • 3-year plan: ₹1.24 per km, minimum 1,200 km/month. Fixed monthly cost – ₹1,488.
  • 5-year plan: ₹1.47 per km, minimum 750 km/month. Monthly cost – ₹1,103.

Even if you ride less than the minimum km, you still pay the fixed amount.

Vida VX2 Plus Plans

The VX2 Plus model has three rental options:

  • 2-year plan: ₹0.90 per km, 2,400 km/month. Monthly cost – ₹2,160.
  • 3-year plan: ₹0.99 per km, 1,600 km/month. Monthly cost – ₹1,584.
  • 5-year plan: ₹1.41 per km, 800 km/month. Monthly cost – ₹1,128.

Additional Charges

Customers need to pay a one-time document processing and stamp duty charge of ₹1,199 at the time of purchase.
