Luxury Cruiser Alert: Honda Rebel 500 Debuts with 471cc Power and Stunning Retro Look

Honda has launched the much-awaited Rebel 500, a mid-size cruiser motorcycle that brings together premium design, strong performance, and retro-modern styling. This bike is aimed at riders who want a unique blend of comfort and power for both city streets and highway journeys.

Powerful 471cc Engine Performance

At the heart of the Rebel 500 is a 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which delivers 46.22 PS of power and 43.3 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, enabling smooth shifts and a top speed of around 153 km/h. The bike ensures a balanced ride with responsive throttle and excellent highway cruising capabilities.

Retro Design with Modern Comfort

The Rebel 500 features a teardrop fuel tank, blackout engine finish, and a minimalist retro look that makes it stand out. It comes with a low seat height of 690mm and wide handlebars, offering a relaxed riding posture. Weighing around 191 kg, the bike strikes a balance between maneuverability and stability.

Handling, Suspension, and Safety

Built for comfort, the bike uses 41mm front telescopic forks and dual rear Showa shocks. Fat tyres (130/90-16 front and 150/80-16 rear) enhance grip and road presence. Key safety features include dual-channel ABS, full LED lighting, a digital LCD display, and a side-stand engine cut-off.

Price and Availability

The Honda Rebel 500 is priced at ₹5.12 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in a single color – Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic. It can be purchased through Honda BigWing dealerships in major cities like Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.
