The Summit is committed to the total development of students’ minds, hearts, and bodies. Yet first and foremost, we are a school – one that works diligently to maintain a reputation for academic excellence. Our renowned curriculum and devoted faculty, whose tenure averages 1.5 Decade, uphold the high standards we have maintained for more than a century.
Our academic program is organized around three schools: the Lower School, which incorporates our Kindergarten pre-school (LKG & UKG), and the (Grades I through IV); the Middle School (Grades V through VIII); and the Upper School (Grades IX through X).
The school currently operates up to Class X and will begin Senior Secondary classes effective coming academic year.

The faculty, staff, and directors of each school work together to provide a strong continuum of education attuned to the needs of individual students, with particular attention paid to the transitions between schools. We strive for – and achieve – small class sizes and excellent teacher/student ratios, which currently average 1:9.
Our standards yield returns that both our students and their parents desire. Students in every grade level consistently score above the national average.
Facilities / Infrastructure
The School campus is located off Peenya Industrial Area; in North Bangalore. Targeting Perfect Educational Environment, a state of art building completely networked with class rooms, labs, audio/visual studios, music and dance room along with all other amenities needed to provide a good learning experience are made available.
In keeping with the philosophy of exploring the unknown, the physical environment at School has a highly effective teaching tool and a lot of planning has gone into its creation.
- Classrooms are large and have windows that flood rooms with bright light and fresh air.
- All areas incorporate open spaces that allow children to move around and select how they want to work
- Rooms are decorated with children’s work, giving them a strong sense of ownership and pride; “They like what they do here”.
- Outside areas contain a wide range of child-friendly equipment and activities plus an extensive selection of natural flora and fauna.
The Resource Centre, comprising the Library and the Teacher’s Resource Centre, has become a unique repository of books. Reading is to the Mind what Exercise is to the Body.
We have a well equipped library for children to quench their thirst for information.. Each year brings with it a fresh treasure trove for our young minds to read, discover and bloom in.
Highly spacious, well ventilated and well equipped the ultra modern Physics, Chemistry, Biology Math and Computer labs are already in place.
These labs are facilitated with a multi media system along with software on varied topics related to science.
Children upgrade themselves to today’s information age with unlimited information at the click of a mouse at the Computer Lab. Well furnished computer labs add to the already appreciable infrastructure of the school.
All computers equipped with the latest software, which have separate projectors to enhance and facilitate learning.
Sports & Games in the curriculum has also been an important objective for a healthy and balanced growth of the school. Keeping this in mind the students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of indoor and outdoor games at the school.
- Outdoor sports include football, basket ball, aerobics, tennis, cricket, yoga and karate.
- In addition to routine Art & Craft activities, children enjoy doing floral display,
mask making etc. - For children with focused interests there are Math club, Eco Club, Quiz and G.K.Clubs, Public speaking and Computer Clubs.
- Dance and Music activities include folk and classical dances, vocal and instrumental music Keeping track of demands, new activities are also added from time to time.
- Talents of teachers at MMBS are identified and exploited to beneficial ends exposing the children to exciting new areas of activities which normally are not a part of general life.
- These activities are aimed at drawing out not only the talent but the hidden desires of the child and the subsequent happiness reflects in better academic performance.
Children are encouraged to participate in various competitions and also display their work through the year to boost their confidence. In addition to the same, best work is appreciated and prizes are awarded on the Annual Prize Day.
Safety of the children and a comfortable journey, to and fro, are important aspects of MMBS / MMBDIPS transport facility. Our vehicles are provided with CCTV cameras and seat belts for security, along with female security wardens to help manoeuvre with ease and safety.
The Global Positioning System (GPS) installed in the buses tracks all vehicles through the day. This remarkable technological device maintains a record of the location and time of the vehicle, which can be referred to when necessary. With this, we are also able to monitor the time spent at every pick-up and drop point, which further helps prevent recurring delays.
The Route Charts are made available to parents while applying for school bus facility.
